The Social Cousin

Based in Atlanta, Jade is an artist, visual communicator, and Black & queer-owned small business owner. She studied Visual Communications at FIDM, where she learned to communicate through visuals, words, and creative expression—especially when verbal communication didn’t always come as easily. That perspective became part of how she creates everything from videos and photography to the spaces around her, always finding ways to make her personality and perspective visible.

Raised on the West Coast and becoming an adult in the South, Jade is rooted in community, spirituality, creativity, and the belief that being a good human matters. Her experiences with both online and offline communities showed her the power of having a meaningful presence on the internet—and the importance of balancing that presence with intention, boundaries, and ethical practices.

The Social Cousin grew from Jade’s journey of rediscovering the creative talents that had become clouded behind a career that wasn’t meant for her. Now, she helps purpose-driven businesses, nonprofits, and creatives communicate online without sacrificing their personality, values, or humanity. She believes Black & POC creators and entrepreneurs deserve to be seen, heard, and supported online—and that social media can be a tool for connection, community, and meaningful growth.

Human-centered strategy. Creative energy. Just my vibe.
